And the family of christ rose to their feet and the earth shook by the loud and thunderous AMEN that the masses sang.

My new brother, I'll pray for you but with that being said may I please offer you some learned advice. Go slow! The new discovery of our Father makes us want to run and scream from the mountain tops for all to hear but I bid this to you.
Have you ever gone to the gym and you were all motivated to get in better shape, build muscle and get lean? On your first workout you nearly killed yourself you worked so hard. Do you rememebr the next morning? PAIN!!!!!! Can't move everything aches and you got a bit confused on what went wrong and you lost your appetite to build a better body and then what happened? You stopped going to the gym right...lol

Becoming born again is very similiar to going to the gym. Please remember that it is not a race. It is like any relationship, the more time and true thought you put into with CONSIDERATION of the other in thought and act, the relationship grows over time. So will your relationship with our father.
Think of each time you read the bible or are taught lessons that it is like going to the gym, but don't make the same mistake as with the other gym, build yourself. I like to call them Faith muscles built at the faith gym. With each learnt passage, it's a new muscle that builds my faith from a mustard seed to the mountain itslef, powerfull enough to guard off all the fiery darts.
Congratulations again brother.

Hitting the church and knowing the Lord are two very different things.
If this post annoys you, don't click on it. ;)

Not trying to be harsh, just the reality of it.

Dan, we'll talk about the running on all the other threads. This is one single thread out of thousands, and it is clearly marked for content. ;)

If it weren't for the Lord there wouldn't be The American Beagler, because I've prayed every single day of it's existence for His guidance, and when times have looked bleak or overwhelming, I've laid my burden in His hands. Our fellow Christian, Darrin Glenn, named the magazine, and I promised God I would use the magazine to His glory - use each and every issue as an opportunity to witness...even if it's just something small. That is why there is at least one line of scripture in each issue (bottom of the table of contents) and those of you who still have the very first issue, the very first word written in my very first editorial was "God". If I'm still around to print the very last issue, the last word will also be "God". He is the Alpha and Omega, the foundation of the magazine, and He always has a place there, or on this board.

Sorry to be long-winded.
