Trials???

Post by Tri-Power »

First off i'd like to thank Bev for getting me the issues of TAB FAST. Got it yesterday and done got it read. The wife even read parts of it. Good publication Bev but needs to be bigger. Like a months worth of reading.

Back to my question : I'm getting back into the beagle thing(Rabbit hunting/Breeding) and was wanting to know if there are any beaglers here around West Plains, Mo. and where if any are the trials that run Rabbit dogs. The walkie/talkies are fun to watch but that aint my bag. The wife says she is going to do this with me so i'm trying to get her a good female pup but i can see the shipping will eat you up. Looking for your answers and thanks a bunch.

WooHooo! Tri Power, that's great news about the Mrs. joining you in beagling. Every kennel could benefit from a little bit of woman's touch and intuition. Your dogs will be better for it and so will you!

I wish I could make the magazine thicker, but it takes me a full month to crank out 72 pages, lol! Maybe if more stuff comes in electronically and doesn't need as much typesetting we can get a thicker book out. So glad you like The American Beagler! So happy Mrs. Stone does too!

Now, get one of those latest issues out and look at the hunt schedules and you'll find out where the clubs are. I think I'm the only magazine that carries a listing of all the hunts in all the registries; AKC, UKC, ARHA/NKC, Gundog Pack, Inc. Cont.KC, etc. I even divide the AKC hunt schedule by type of trial, Mid-West SPO & Large Pack = fast hounds, GDB, reg SPO and SP being moderate speed and good line. I don't list the traditional brace trials because the magazine promotes a gundog. Happy hunting!
