Number of rabbit champs in one litter

hey all,

I just got some pictures developed of my first litter of pups I have ever had. This was the best cross I believe I had ever made. I have a daily breed bitch that I crossed with Powells Turbo Dreamboat, and I ended up with eight pups. Two died, one is a house pet and five hit the trials. Well this cross ended up produceing five PP rabbit champs, one grand bench champ, two bench champs, one U.K.C hbch needing only one win to be grhbch also being a ukc bench champ. Plus one with a win toward ukc champ. To me, I think this turned out to be a great cross. I had this cross made again right before Boat passed away. I am thankful for being able to have this cross twice. You guys that ended up with one out of the seconed cross should be thankful you have some of this blood. You know who you are and I just want to wish you the best and hope they turn out just as good. So now my question is, how many champs or grands have some of you guys had produced in one litter out there?? Jesse Duncan

David Schlaug bred his bitch, Stump's Ky. Mtn. Snapper, to her grandfather Ellison Ridge Redman and got RCh. Switcherhill Fancy, Dual Ch Switcherhill Brandy who won the bench in the North American, GrRCh Bch Switcherhill Windy who placed 14th in the World in the Grands, Rch Switcherhill Dusty whom I think placed 4th in the World and also in the Indiana State, and Rch Jed who I think also placed in the World. Jed is Owned by Wayne Waits he would know for sure. Chris

Sounds pretty good to me Jesse and Chris, but I am by far no expert.The best that we have done from one litter was five pp champions from a litter of nine out of Montgomery's LiL Red Rusty and Montgomery's Lady Ace.The other four were never in a field trail,they were only used for hunting.I know their are others that have done better, I would like to hear about some of the others.
