pREDICTION FOR FUTURE
hI BEAGLE SPORTING FANS! lets have some fun. We don't bet on alot when it comes to running hounds at the trials and sometimes we just have an idea on what to watch for. reproduction of a good dog or race horse is imparative for consistency.... ANd the way the genetic make up in any animal can be called consistent is knowing what is in the ingredience... If Its not well done( the make up) and watched over you can't figure out whats comming.
I Know there are some fellas out there getting some good reproduction from the lines they are very proud of! And rightfully so!! When they work hard at making sure the ingrediance is well balanced for strong hunting abillity and taking charge of the race, and strike by hunting abillity. and look forward to everyone having fair trials and very much fun in the beagle compitition. I would like to put one dog up for a vote of one to watch is a little boldstoke hound called Hoss.. for this year as a prime example of breeding for aggression. This hound is not in the trials yet. as he is too young thus far- and I have never watched this hound run. but as example of knowing what it is in the soup. I just have to guess that I can bet on an easy tittle this season for this little hound.
ANd for all my good friends in beagles you know I respect you all for your efforts I would love to hear your future predictions.. for your first winners of the new year. WIth great respect Gill Davis

Hoss
Who owns "hoss" and who will be trialing him?
Big Dog.

Black and Tans, Blue Ticks, and a few others bringing smoke
id rather be out circling and shooting rabbits over a young dog vs trialing it and getting a title
I'd rather have dogs that can do both with ease, wait I do!

hoss
Okay, I know the dog now. Jeff had him tied out at a hunt that I went to. as I recall he is a red dog. I know they will run him and get him ready, so only time will tell.

Pwill or Mark probably know the sire, I just happened to remember him being tied out at a hunt, and Chris overcash told me that they had sold him to jeff stacey.

Speaking of Mark, where is he?

There are four dogs that I've seen alot of this year, that I think I think is going to be HELL on wheels.
1st. Is a dog name Goldie. She is Sangamon ridge blood line. and is owned by Brian and Jackie Haywood. This dog has eveything in a dog that you want.
2nd. Is a dog name Daisy. I don't know her bloodline, she is owned by Rick Burkholder. The first time that my best dog was in the same cast with her. She won with 240 points, my male had 210. Everytime we get in the same cast she's beat him. Watch out for this one.
3rd. Is a dog name Bullet. This dog is owned by Adam Diest. This dog is very high on points for hound of the year. This is another dog that people have to look out for.
4th. Is a dog name Sting. This dog has paycheck in him. I've ran this dog a lot, he has great speed great hunt just just needs some age to him yet. This dog is owned by Brian and Jackie Haywood. This is my sleeper dog for this year.
Catfish.
