rhoades royal buck has the ability to win any hunt on any given day,he hurts himself sometimes but he is getting to the age were he will start settling down alot.he is just now getting to be trial dog age so look out this next coming year. Also i just sold jay another nice dog named crankshaft that should do pretty well,so twin pine kennel is loaded up for the upcoming year.not to mention he still has bones, judy and biscut also he purchased a very very nice yuong dog that i ran with 2 weaks ago,his name slips my mind thow.watch for twin pines this year coming.

There are too many kennels out there with nice competetive hounds these days to pick a winner. I've judged the champion finals in all of the big 5 hunts so far this year. I havn't judged one kennel twice. Different dogs and different kennels in each one...Anyone's ball game on any given day....

Thats exactly right! There are more good hounds out there now than ever before. A good hound used to could place or win alot at hunts, but not anymore as good dogs are on the ground on a consistent basis. Yeah there's still some junk out there but overall the quality of hounds running LP has improved dramatically over the years. I dont mean to brag on dogs from my home club, but we have some dog-power from the guys that are members at BKBC, and we have been having between 45-80 dogs at just our club hunts. Even winning a club hunt at BKBC speaks volumes.Blu Tick Beagler wrote:There are too many kennels out there with nice competetive hounds these days to pick a winner. i would have to disagree with the quality of hounds getting better in little pack. in fact my opinion is that they are drastically getting worse. more and more you see dogs feeding off of others to score and the dogs that do the work get out swung or out cut. i think that the reason good dogs dont win consistently any more is because they are consistently get getting out cheated on the track.
