KIDS/PUPPY HUNT AT MID-GEORGIA BEAGLE CLUB

Post by Beagle Bum »

 It's that time of year again! It's time for Mid-Georgia Beagle Club's ANNUAL KIDS/PUPPY HUNT!! :-o
I guess it's true "Time flies when you're having fun!!" It doesn't seem like a year has gone by since our last Kids/Puppy Hunt, but its time for another.
We will be holding our Third Annual Kids/Puppy Hunt on May 21, 2005. We will be using Tussahaw's running grounds for this event.
Basically this is how it goes:
Anyone can enter a hound (pup) as long as it's under two years old. Pups are broken into two different groups - those under one year old and those between one and two years old. Shock Collars are allowed for all events (except the bench ;) ). We invite all youths from age ? to age 14 to attend. All participants 14 and under who handle (or help handle) a hound will recieve a Trophy for their efforts. Anyone, regardless of age, can enter a pup and can handle the pup during the hunt but they will not recieve a trophy unless they meet the age criteria.
In addition to the Field Trial portion, we will conduct a Bench Show for the kids.
Cost is $10.00 for the Field (per pup) and $5.00 for the Bench.
Lunch will be available.
So bring your children, grandchildren, or the kid down the street - there's a great time to be had by all. Make it a Family Affair and spend some time with the kids and their (your) puppies!! :D
So - parents, grandparents and friends, we are looking forward to seeing all of you, your children, grandchildren and their friends at this fun event.
