Survivor Contest in the South

Post by Ted Peercy »

Due to the popularity of the Survivor shows, several southern TV
stations are joining together and are planning to do their own,
entitled "Survivor: Southern Style."

The contestants will start in Alabama, travel over to Georgia and on to
South Carolina. >From there they will head up to North Carolina and over
to Tennessee. They will then proceed down to Mississippi and
Louisiana, finally ending up back over in Alabama.

Each will be driving a pink Volvo with New Jersey license plates and
large bumper stickers that read:
I'm Gay!
I'm a Vegetarian!
NASCAR Sucks!
Go Yankees!
Smoking is for Idiots!
Hillary in 2008!
Deer Hunting is Murder!
I'm Here to Confiscate Your Guns!

The first one that makes it back to Montgomery alive, wins.

I haven't met a republican yet that was for gays, Hillary, or confiscating guns, but I've met some liberals that meet most of the criteria laid out on the bumper sticker.

This is too funny Ted, I copy and pasted it and sent it to everyone via e-mail. Even my democrat buddies would get a kick out of it.
I hope they come down I-40...........talk about a fun show. It would be almost as good as watching Jeff Gordon getting beat in Nascar. :P

Just got this back from a friend that lives in New Jersey. I gave them a heads up about the "contest".

I will agree that the car captures many of the characteristics of those we see on I-78 here in the Garden State. The only additional "instructions" should be that the contestants must drive erratically, on the shoulder is preferable, and never go below 70 mph -- in school zones!

Ted: if that were true, NONE of them would make it out of Alabama! If they started in my Mother-in-Law's hometown (Albertville), I would be surprised if they made it past Boaz. They would not get off Sand Mountain for sure - LOL! What do you think John Grant?

Chuck
I agree with you!
Sand Mountain, 63 miles long and 9 miles wide. Long way to travel for those folks.

ROFL

They might make it over Sand Mt but once they hit the next mountain, I know they ain't got a chance.

Grant Mountain would be their last stop.
