Well, I went and picked up a brand called Pro Ballanced. The ingredients look real good with chicken being the first and so on. This stuff is a 22/12 with the omega 6 and 3 so we will see if its any good. I did find that the dealer started carrying Black Gold but only had the black bag 26%. I know my dogs were having trouble with the higher energy of the Diamond and was a little afraid to go from a 21% Diamond to a 26% Black Gold ESPECIALLY with rabbit season coming to a close. I thought it better if I was going to switch them to change them to something that was comprable to what they were already getting. I DID ask my dealer to order some of the maintance type Black Gold (lower protien) and if I didn't see an improvement with the Pro Ballance would try that when this is gone. The Jury is out.
I did speak with Diamond on the phone today and wasn't impressed with what I heard. I explained my dogs were free from parisites, and had no other health problems and asked them what they changed because this just isn't the same food I have been feeding for over 10 years. The lady refered me to their "On Staff Vet" who conveniently was away from her desk. She took down my email address and was supposed to have responded to me so that I could check it from work but never got a response. Will post the email if I do but don't hold your breath.

Today I picked up two bags of the Hi-Standard 23/16 ( blue bag) and started them on it tonight. Got a small portion of the JUNK Diamond left so mixed with an equal amount of Hi- Standard to ease them onto it. I hope this works as my dogs are looking pittyful and I've got 100 pounds of it to feed.
