Maybe you can answer a question for me. Why are you allowing Rebel and company to bash Bev and others so vehemently on your board?

If it was my board and I was allowing it, I believe I would be ashamed to come to this board like as if nothing ever happened.

I went to your board for awhile and even enjoyed it for a couple days, but now I cannot stand the filth. It's such a shame. It gives prospective beaglers or those new to the sport the wrong impression about beaglers in general.

What a blackeye for the sport.

Just wondering why?

Yep, I have to agree with Bopeye on this one as I too visited the board for a while but after seeing all the suposedly grown men on there having pi$$ing contests and saying things like "I'm gonna kick yer teeth out and I am special forces and on and on It reminded me of a bunch of little kids in the playground when we were young.I am glad to know that most of us have out grown that type of imature threats of bodily harm and "I'm a profesional computer hacker, and I can do this and that" I'm sure there must be some other type of wierd chat room you could go to and discuss such meaningless stuff without degrading what is suposed to be a beagle board.I had been visiting that board for a while when I was hard up for some input but I think I would raher watch paint dry than read such idle trash that is the main attraction of that board IMO.As far as the bashing of Bev and Chris,or anyone else in the way it was done is totally uncalled for. I'm afraid if someone publicly said those things about me or mine they better have some kind of proof or documentation to present at the defamation hearing that would be inevidible.I can't imagine the site going anywhere among the true beaglers of our ranks.And now that it has been brought up ,how could one come on this board and make any comments and expect them to have much validity among the average beaglers that regularly visit here and other reputable boards ??? hey bopeye, why are you coming on here (TAB) and bringing this up? have you tried emailing him and asking?have you tried asking him on his site?

you criticize him for allowing people to voice their opinion of topics and calling it a blackeye to the sport, well are you not doing the same, publicly voiceing your opinion?

he said in the beginning there was to be no post deleting. has he been a man of his word?

I won't speak about Bev, Chris or Swing personally, but as far as the boards and the way their run, I became a proud member of the "I was ban by Chris" club awhile back. It was in the politics section and we were talking about Unions and one fellow stated that the union had ran it's course and was really no longer needed. Of course, I disagreed and gave my reasoning why, when I ask the fellow on what practical experience he based his opinion, I was ban to save the fellow the embarrassment of having the explain himself, or at least that all I could figure

To me, this excessive censorship is far worse than the free-for-all that goes on over at Swings, as when your ban, you simply disapear, you have no way to defend yourself and it's swept under the rug without anyone being the wiser.

After my first visit to Swing's board(oh, and by the way Bopeye, your post prompted my 4th visit), I knew full well what to expect on any future visits, so if I choose to go there, there's no more shock. I take it with a grain of salt and sort through the fluff(I believe people are actually capable of doing that on their own, without having to be protected from it and someone else deciding what is proper and what is not)...
I'm not saying every board should be run like Swing's, but it has given those of a diferent nature a place to go and express themselves, however distasteful to your liking. And, you must admit, this board has been squeeky clean ever since...
I can't even view the RHO site, so what, if anything, has happened there I don't know or care.

I agree with Gabe totally, Swing has provided the arena for the bull fight but isn't providing the bull...Patch

Once again a worthless topic with absolutely no benefit to the sport of beagling has been started. This is ridiculous. If someone wants to post on another board and you don't like what is on there and you feel that you just can't look at it that's fine. Don't go there but why do we spend so much time debating over these things. We are supposed to be arguing about whose dog is better than whose. Come on guys.

So what we have here is those that goes to Swings site and checks in as guest and comes back here to back stab and slander..bet one of you is the Bad Mo Fo and Badder Mo Fo on Swings site that attempts to cause trouble and decention and runs back to other sites and bad mouths Swing and his site.
How bout it Cannon Hollow Hounds,Bopeye and others??If you visit and not ashamed to come here and vent,sign in on his site and vent,if you are not part of the cure you are part of the problem.Those that bad mouth Swings board should be ban from this one,trouble makers do not cease from one board or another.Bopeye why not copy and past some of your Bad Mo Fo threads you have commited on Swings board and Cannon Hollow Hounds how about Badder Mo Fo threads,seems there is finger prints in the way you two post that gives you away,well how about it?next trip to swings sign in and have your say there and keep it confined to that board,if you don't start any there will not be any..
Patch come to Swings board,as you do here,i am sure you will be welcome..

Do you remember why Donald Potts got rid of his board?
Seems like the man who ran the site could be held liable for things on his site or something like that.
If you allow it, then it's the same as condoning it.

too bad this is how it works james... you ask a question and instead of an answer you just get slammed

. message boards are a wonderful thing but some guys dont know how to handle them. personally i think in the next few years you will really see a decline in the quality of dogs out there which will be caused by a handful of factors but i think that these boards take a lot of running time away from some kennels and you will see them struggle in the future. i guess thats a little off topic but wait and see... a lot of these "pro beaglers" are already struggling to replace their older dogs.

I had a little trouble on the ARHA board one time when i questioned something and everytime i posted after that it got deleted. I have not returned to that board in over 2 years. Bev lets things go here some and i credit her for lettting people self police what they are saying. It is her board to run as she wishes we are meerly guests to her board using a free service. Swings board is Swings board just like Bevs board is Bevs. If you don't like this free service and what goes on here then get out and find something else to do with your time. Personally i like the idea of guest posts and if i can't stand the content then i will not look at it. You have the same choice so quit crying foul when all you do is go to another board and complain about what you just read on the one previously visited site.

Bev you have a nice site and i respect your decision on how you run it.

Swing i also like your site respect the fact that you do not delete controversial topics.

There is something for everyone on both sites so enjoy them for what they are or pay for your own site and run it as you like. After all this people do not charge you for these services.

ya know...my opinion and 50 cents might get you a soda..but here goes..if you dont like swings site....dont go there...it seems pretty easy...i dont agree with the way another board is handled so i dont go there much anymore...if people want to sign in as a guest and bad mouth other folks then i wouldnt take to much stake in what they had to stay...just my opinion...swing told everyone that he would not delete posts...and made a section for such crap...i aint tryin to ruffle any feathers but this is my opinion...thanks...tracy....opinions are like a..holes everybody has one....

LOL... I SWORE !! long ago that I would NEVER allow myself to be irritated enough to join in on any of this useless type of bickering on ANY of these boards.But after working another 12 hour shift yesterday and getting home at midnight,logging on and checkin' out the boards as usual I must have had one of them brain farts and put in my two cents when I maybe shouldn't have. BUT, I consider James a good friend and agreed with him,and I stand by my opinion. Boss Hog, LOL.. no, I am not any of those guests you have mentioned, nor any other guest. The only time I have ever went to a board as a guest was the first time I visited one. At that time I would register and from then on I just stay registered each time I log on.On swing's board, I registered as The Unknown Beagler... now I don't know what kind of HOG wash you are saying about "signatures" or whatever,but that is the gist of things and I will try to never let myself write another check that my......... however you big bad a$$es say all that scary stuff..lol.. but I would like to hear a civilized answer to the original question on this post.......NAAAAAAAA...forget it...I don't think MOST of the ones posting there are able to have a civil conversation. keep em in the berry brush,and have fun, CHH
