We just want to give you guys a heads up. George Meade and Bill Hayslett both lost dogs that were killed by a sow bear with cubs today at a UKC event in Low Moor VA. They were in the winners pack and the hunt was over. They were calling the dogs in when the attack occurred. It was a three dog winners pack and 2 of the 3 were killed. Sorry for these guys loss. From what we hear due to the warm weather the bears are on the ground instead of in caves. If you are in that area you may want to grab some bear spray. You may wish you had it.
