Let me ask a question here bud. What would you say the speed are on these dogs? Very interested in the line to add to what I have. Everyone I've talked to on the line tells me that they have superb hunt but the speed question is all over the place.

Mr. Coondog you sure did make my day, want to know how the pups were doing and Had No Idea, that you were gunning over them already,, I been taking some of my young pups,, if you remember that I kept the Runt in that litter,, I call him" D.R's Hi-Tec.Redneck" he is likewise doing mighty fine under the Gun. If it wasn't for that Ol Kubotat RTV 900, I wouldn't be able to see any of the races, but they cant' ourrun that old Diesel 4x4 and I see what I want to, let my old chauffer "Doc" do the shooting, with his little 410 pump,, he shot three over my pups yesterday..

Where was Shirtpocket, when you took that photo ? Yep someone has to take the pictures,, let him take a photo of my old buddy D.R's Amos.. Hope he is still helping you out on the hard Checks,, I miss that old boy, but I know you giving him what he was breed to do, hard to bet them old pure breed Weir Creeks..

Keep looking Up!

If your looking for a hound that hunts and runs a rabbit the way a beagle should you cant go wrong with that ole Red Train. Just make sure they all come from the man himself "Mr Daddy Rabbit", don't accept anything less than that they come from his kennel directly. They will run ARHA Progressive Pack speed for the most part.

Those are some good looking hounds!!!

Mr Holcombe, Happy New Year from Pennsylvania, were having a mighty fine Georgia winter up here this year.

Mr. SGP:

Thanks for the P.M. was mighty glad to hear from you, my Friend hope your Gun Season is going well.. once we got the deer hunters out of the Ga. woods. the weather turn way too bad for me, so I just this week got some gunning over my pups.. I had a male pup, litter mates to Mr Larry Meeks three pups he is showing here,, I made a stupid mistake by letting a young fellow from out near Atlanta, Ga. see this pup,, I called "Hi-Ted Redneck" run a few days ago,, he bought my pup, well I know he will take care and give that pup lots more running than I was able to give him..

Keep Looking Up!

Larry folks do it all the time,, I try to tell them its all about the First Time they Hear that Gun Shoot !! My experience has been to take them out where you can see them when running for the first time and have them running and don't shoot the big bore I use my 410 with 2.5" shot gun shells, have them pounding the rabbit and shot they will not even pay it any attention, if they running the rabbit, they have their mind on that track..Once they see the dead rabbit, and they get the blood in their mouth, you have it made with the gun,,

lost of pups made gun Shy from Jump Shooting. Don't allow anyone that hunts with me to Jump Shoot!!

I know this is what you suppose to do Up front. Now in your case,, I would hold up on all the excessive bam bam automatic with big bore guns and just keep working with him,,, he may come around if you let up, once he gets that dead rabbit associated with the shot,,he will make it.. Try hard to let him taste that blood..

Good Luck and keep him in there..
