Maine Hare Hunt 2015

Well, I haven't been able to get out in the PA woods yet with the dogs but for good reason, we just got back from a week in the Maine woods. This year was a blast again, and we lucked out on the weather to boot as opposed to the 80 degree days we got last year.

As a bonus, my dad got to go along with us this year and experience Maine for the first time in his life. He also got his 1st hare on the trip. He won't soon forget the chases he heard either.

We did not go to Maine this year. My friends camp burnt down a week before we were to arrive. Maine hare hunts are a challenge to the beagles.

Very nice.
On a diff subject did you see any deer sign? I use to deer hunt up maine, but family,work, life, put a hold on that. I get that itch every fall to head north.

I saw some deer sign, the 2 deer in the video were a good sign of that.
