Not taking anything away from the Krpans.

I just can hear those old time breeders, now dead, whose blood started the Branko dogs sitting around hearing those Branko champions running and commenting on how that one has the same mouth as Ol Big Boy did, and another saying and the looks of Ol Suzie, and the close track running Ol Mike had. Great memories! All those were in many cases well known champions too.

Pleasant Run was very popular and good dogs back a ways and they modestly always gave credit for those before them that they used to get their champion line started.

They as well as the Brankos had the betterment of the breed forefront in their breeding.

Congratulations on the Krpans trialing breeding success.

The Krpan's used these great hounds of the past & created their own bloodline that has made a tremendous impact on the hunting beagle breed. They have by far bred more Mid-West AKC Field Champions (46) than any breeder in it's history; not to mention all of the good hounds that went to gun hunters that most of us will never know about. Many of the best hounds today have Branko breeding somewhere in their pedigree. A good breeder will appreciate & take advantage of other good bloodlines & hounds just like Branko did instead of being envious to the point of becoming kennel blind.

Lee , if ur call'n me a hater or stupid .Well I guess it takes stupid to know stupid , stupid . U can kiss my stupid a$$ . I hate no one .
They have done great for the breed bar-none .

But I would like to know how many pups they have whelped ? 119 FC is great . But lets see the %'s , we all know they have whelped 100's upon 100's of litters. That 119 may not look so good if we knew the #of pups whelped . JMHO .
I've had Branko dogs , didn't like what I had , lacked foot .

Congrats to them as well. I was at there place when Hell-Prop and Ali-Baba and Lumberjack was there. There good people and it would be a nice trip for anyone to make to visit them. Had a great time and seen some nice dogs run.

I liked most of the Branko dogs I' ve had and seen, not perfect but none are. I only have 3 now but if I was to come across one that interested me I would get another. They seem to fit in with my grade dog bloodline perty nicely. I think Branko has done a nice job with his line of dogs, definitely a positive contributor to the beagle breed.
