How do you guys handle the HOY awards at your club? Do you have a run off with say the top 10 in each class? Or do you just go with the high score? The key to HOY is to put your dog into as many hunts as you can. It doesn't seem fair if one dog has 909 points and attended 15 hunts he should beat a dog with 74 points that only attended 6 hunts. If you have a run-off, are the dogs that champed out as opens allowed to compete if they are in the top 10 or whatever number are running? I'm new to this and wondering.
