In my opinion i would stay away from turbo blood
You have enuff turbo there allready
And if u want to stay with akc trials id stay with akc competion dogs
Id stay away from any little pack dogs
I know not all little pack dogs are rough runners
But alot are or atleast have some ruff running lil pack dogs in their pedigree history
In my opinion you should
defently consider FC Dutch Hollow El Grito Diablo
Yes im a fan of his
But i know what hes throwing
Ive got two nice derbys
And they are exactly what im looking for to compete with in the midwest format
One of my favorite pups is out of diablo an a lil pack bred dog
And its still straight as an arrow
So hes showed me hea throwing brains
Which i think is one of the most important factors in choosing a stud dog

Just curious wildcat, have you had several turbo hounds or have you bred several of them, Id like to learn all I could from you on breeding turbo stuff. That line has always kinda intrigued me. The goods and the bads. How has your dog out of Diablo done in the Midwest and what could u expect if breeding to Ky Lucky or Top Fuel Chester???

I have owned 100 turbo dogs give or take
I like a low dose of turbo
I have a belly full of diablo pups in a turbo female right now thats due anyday
And i like turbo blood
Who can argue that turbo blood is bad with dogs like reggie thats throwing awesome hounds.
I have had several double turbo n triple turbo dogs that just wasnt suited for midwest trials.
Seems they have had to much mouth or not enuff.
And tend to be a ruffer running style dog.
But with turbo blood comes power!!
And me myself like a single generation of turbo blood crossed up with something different
My diablo pups havent been trialed yet.
But they r almost ready
Im really impressed with there style of hunting , jumping ,and running rabbits
They have great hunt, big noses that they have the brains to control.
They have a ton of heart and alot of grit.
I cant speak for top fuel chester because i dont know anything about him but what ive heard ,although what ive heard has been good.
As for ky lucky
If i was gonna breed to a turbo dog right now it would defently be him!!
Hes tuff as nails!!
And his trial record is very impressive!
Eddie and travis has always had a knack for producing world class hounds.
Dont think any of todays big turbo studs are double turbo.
But alot of single turbo bred stuff that has made it big time.
Which kinda wraps up my theory.
This is only my opinion and my choices in bloodlines
Theres good and bad in all of em and that is a fact.
Hope this helps

100 Turbo dogs, is that a figure of speech or serious number. Best dog bar none we have owned was a double bred Turbo male named TK's Round Mountain Jake. Think he was in HOF in ARHA before he was 3 and was only entered in 2 AKC trials one SPO mid west trial won it and 2 weeks later went to a AKC large pack trial in Louisanna and won it. Probably a once in a lifetime dog

100 turbo dogs is a pretty closed estimate id say
Is that the only double turbo dog u have had that done anygood?
Id say he was a dominate lil pack dog the way he was bred was he a mate to rambler?
And i was talking about akc stud dogs being single turbo bred
Im sure there is several lil pack stud dogs thats double turbo.
Once again just my opinion
If u would like to learn more i can try to help
I dont know as much as most but im fairly knowledgable on the turbo line

Yes Trent Tallo has all 4 pups now. I raised them and he got them about a month ago I would say. He said that he was keeping a male and a female. Sold the other 2. I told him if they was alittle to wild for him let me know and I would buy them back. I just don't have time to run young dogs and adult dogs as well. He keeps me posted on them though. He said that he was gonna take them to starting pen here for to long. I messed with them when they was here and they was pretty fun and impressive to watch.

if i was going to breed a outstanding bitch it would be to heat'em up nitro or a heat'em up hound. its just the way i'm going in breeding eventually. speed and line control. it could happen
let honesty run through the veins of each and every judge at each and every trial at each and
every format.

Trent,

Another real good male that seems to be producing excellent traits is Smith's Blue Goose. From the videos I've seen of him and talking to good friends of mine that have seen him numerous times, they say he's a very powerful hound, with a big mouth and is a jump dog.
