You might also try a rat trap baited with something bloody and screwed to a stake or fence post. Sure it's a weasel? Could be a mink or an owl. What is the damage you are finding?

A wood box, the size of a shoe box with an inch and a half hole drilled in one side.
Opposite side drill a smaller 1/2 inch hole.
I take a rabbits head and put it in the back of the box.
Place a small leg hold trap, or rat trap in the middle of the box.
Place trap in an area where weasel tracks are present.

good luck!

Use a older 1 1/2 long spring, I found I had better catches than using a rat trap. You can find used ones from time to time, on some trapping forums. I use a Lennon's All Call weasel lure.

Make sure your box latches closed and you have a vent hole opposite the entrance hole.
Beagling is not a science, just an opinion!

My brother and I used to catch weasels using this method back in the 70s but we used chicken liver for bait.
our father was a mink rancher at the time and he was getting good $ out out his big mink pelts ! and we were
getting a couple bucks for a weasel ! lol we used a #1 victor jump trap !
