thanks jeff. i don't pay real close attention to the garmin numbers as a rule but have enough to know that the dogs can run anywhere from 2 miles an hour to over 7. about a week ago we put 24 miles on the dogs. that sounds like a lot but when they average over 6 miles an hour it is just a short morning run. right now the conditions are as good as it gets but soon they will be up to there eye balls in snow and that kind of pace will come to a screeching halt. check out this clip from last winter. this is more like the 2 miles an hour lol.
