I always used NY Mike. I thought I was signing in apparently I wasn't . I guess i didn't go through all the registry.Sorry this upsets you. I can tell you one thing. I never posted as just guest. I am sorry you guys are getting so upset about this subject.

Now that i have taken back all my coins,i just want to say this.I may have more to say later,but for now i want to touch on a "STRANGER".I once alowed a STRANGER into my home,my life and later introduced that same STRANGER to my wife and children,that same STRANGER visited my parents home many times but was NOT alowed entrance,finally i felt compassion for that STRANGER and the way my parents had treated him and alowed him to enter my home without question.Have you ever been visited by such a STRANGER?if not?i will be more than happy to ask him to pay you a visit and seek entrance.Can anyone of you name this STRANGER without a viewable profile or proper introduction?Dressed in rags and looking like a hobo walking with the help of a stick and may smell from lack of bathing,you look out your window,lock the doors and tell the family to hide and act as if no one is home when the STRANGER knocks,he knocks once,twice,three times,and than turns and walks away,disappears as if magic,you inform the family they can come out of hiding the STRANGER has left without a trace and all is clear and all you had to do was alow him entrance and he would have protected you from harm and from that point on you would not have to be frightened of GUEST nor STRANGERS cause any you would not take part of nor respond to what you knows is vulgar,nasty or off subject,and those that do take part are just as guilty as those that indulge in such.MHO,you refused to alow STRANGERS and GUEST in,and now you are a part of the problem and not the cure.I don't know Swing but he,my opinion,is testing to bring to light those that are guilty of causing the problem and from my observation,i think i can pick out a few from this thread.I am going to set back and view a little more and talk to that STRANGER and ask him to visit a few of you guys and see if he can enter..this STRANGER is not a STRANGER to me anymore,i put away my fears and cowardly ways and alowed him to enter and now i know his name and his named is mentioned many times a day in my home and i can visit web sites like this one and go to bed at night and know the STRANGER,to some, watchs over me and one day i will follow that STRANGER and see what he has promised me.

BossHog you are absolutely right. In my post I was trying to show my opinion, But what is was doing was adding fuel to the fire. I just want it to be known that I was not pointing a finger. I am sorry if I offended you. No hard feelings!

Did I leave that out?

I'm afraid the reason for showing up as guest was because I check in during breaks at school, work, when at my In-laws

. I have cut myself back to just home now so I should never show up as a Guest. Unless I fall off the wagon!!! You are right though I always did sign all my posts because I always take credit for what I write....good, bad or indifferent.....but NEVER deliberately MEAN! I think you have made the right move here Bev, as if you didn't realize my position by now.

Originally the majority of the people posting wanted to eliminate the Guest, (that didn't sign his or her name, or handle). Now SOME of the same ones are crying because while they were getting hammer by the GUEST and complaining, they have lost their way to hammer others without putting down their names. If you don't have what it takes to post your name, that tells me maybe you know you shouldn't be saying it. Looks like just a few people upset, get over it. You can say what ever you want you just have to stand behind what you say. This is hard to do if you don't believe what you are saying is true. This subject has been beaten to death,and will go no wheres. We have the right to express ourselves, but are we expressing OURSELVES if we don't sign our name. Now let see how many get offened as I express how I feel. Just my thought .

I personally think some of the best and most thought provoking posts came from guests. Just look through the archives. A board with the same people posting all the time can get stagnant. It can becomes refreshed when a new person surfs on and wants to ask a question. Lots of these questions will not be asked if they have to go through the trouble of registering. I know it is hard to believe but some people are just not that good with a puter.
When I look at how dead the ARHA and UKC boards have become, since registration , I wonder.
I agree some of the cheap shot posts come from "Guest". I think as adults we should be able to either laugh it off or think "What is this person telling me?". It seems that the people who take themselves way to seriously get the most attacks against them.
I think if a "Report this post" button was added to the forum you could nip a lot of the crap in the bud.
After 3 years this board has remained one of the most active sites with lots of good information with Guests posting. To my knowledge not a singe person has died from a guest post.

My exact point Farwest, you said what I have been trying to say.
Just Like the Mace Clark issue, where it was brought to the clubs attention that something went a little sour at a hunt, and they wanted to have a meeting and talk it over, never got discussed but yet the people wanting to have the meeting ended up getting barred from NKC or probation.
A lot of people dont want to put theirselves in a position to where the hammer could fall on them

I stold this post from another board ( everyone knows this dog )

For example, I know of a PP hound that was gun certified...which is all well and good, but the owner drove an hour away from the grounds he was suppose to certify the dog on so he could do it in a little weed patch (behind a big store) that contained no deer. The dog was a KNOWN DEER RUNNER, but because she could tolerate gunfire, she became a Certified Rabbit Champion, and I have no doubt she will be bred or has already been bred several times.

How often does stuff like that happen? How many times was the certifying committee a group of three friends who went off in the woods and there were no other witnesses around to testify that the dog did indeed hunt up his own rabbit alone, circle it, then was gunned? I hope not ever, but there are no guarantees. I've only been to a handful of PP certifications personally and the folks doing it were staright as arrows about it. A certain amount of faith must be had that hunting dog owners are doing right by the breed, but no registry can guarantee it because certain people will always find a hole, or a way to slip thru the cracks of any system.

I myself know of dogs that have not circled rabbits and received their title, just to get the certification over with. But if I posted the dogs it would just cause hard feelings
Some people dont want to sign these post due to reprucutions (sp) of what might happen.
I care nothing about the trials, only club I go to is my buddies and that is to help him out, If he wasnt there I wouldnt go at all.
I even posted the post about the Randy and Dale Barnes issue under another name.
But I have since then took credit for that post.
Thats why the guest post was a useful thing. tell things to people without getting hammered for telling the truth
There is my point, probably still clear as mud.

Swing, I edited this to add the quote tags to my "portion" of the post you quoted. I don't mind taking credit for my words, but I don't want them mingled in with yours.

Thanx for clearing that up , I wouldnt want people to think you would stoop to my level and have my words mingled with yours

NY Mike.......No problem. It dont upset me at all and no need to be sorry. I dont care who registers or who dont or what anyone says on these boards or if they use their home computer, work computer or the local library, their own name, my name or your name, lol.......700-800 posts later I have nothing to hide. I just couldnt help but notice that you and a couple other folks who have recently registered are the ones jumping all over this post

I did find the guest posts entertaining and humorous and most times pretty fair, even when they were about me, and if they were not decent they got deleted. Someone who gets hurt by an imaginery figure needs to seek help anyway and if its the truth...well maybe you shouldnt do wrong.

Bottom line. This is Bevs board and Bev can do as she wants to do and it dont matter if we like it or not. Bev does a lot and offers a lot of services to us with TAB. Honestly the price of the mag a year is worth just being able to come here and sell stuff for free. You sell 1 pup here and that will pay for 5 years magazine if you figure what some charge to broker pups.

Swing, lol....and your point for pasting my post from Chris's board is? Did I not sign my name to it or what? Or are you just mad that I didn't name the dog and owner? What would be the point in that? I wasn't out to crucify anyone, but just to point out there are flaws in any system. You and Patch tickle me - following me around to different boards and pasting my posts like your actually doing something or catching me at something, LMAO. I own my posts.

If you really, really don't like the way things are on this board...why are you still here? Nobody's making you come here. You have a board now, everyone's free to go visit it, so why are you here if you are unhappy? You could always go list all your AKC puppies for sale on the ARHA board, and use their chat room. Oops, wait...

Like it use to be?Oh how great life would be if it was like it use to be?Hounds were better,life was more relaxing,a cold drink was a dope and controls were less restricting,but when you did mess up the punishment was extremely much more sever and now you can't spank a child no matter what they do.I am thinking of being recycled and i can start all over and not have the scares i wear for protection the FREEDOMS we DON'T have.
Swing is a drawing card and 4 pages so far,any guesses on when it will end if not locked or censored?and who will win the debate when others hear about it from other boards?I am thinking at one time Swing was like one of Bev's protected?and when is Chris going to join in and this overflows to his boards or is he waiting till things really gets wound up?I for one would like to hear his view points on the subject matter.To this point things have stayed fairly civil.I think i will go spread the word.lol.
My guess is 8 pages if it is not locked.

Who said I was unhappy, all I am saying, there was benefits to the guest post.
And if I heard right today you were going to go back to letting guest post in a few days.
So no big deal to me either way, I was just proving a point to the benefits of the guest post.

my 2 cents, I think it's good that people must register to post. In my job I hear alot of people tell me that so and so complained about........... whatever, one of my rules for keeping myself sane is that if so and so can't let me know who they are then i don't need to worry about it!

And as always I can see disagreeing with this but, I couldn't imagine someone changing the way a message board is run getting under my skin. As one other poster put, life is to short.

I suggest we all abstain from the internet for 30 days and see if we could survive, lol !!!!!!!!!!!!
