I don't trial yet, but would like to know what format these hounds would fit in?
Thanks

Re: What trial format...
whatever you do DONT take them to a UBGF trial or they will pick you up faster than you can blink. trust me!! Then I drove the 4 hours home after being down for all of 3 minutes!
I guess you can call it a learning experience.

Re: What trial format...
Rabbit Chaser I don't want to do that. My town used to have a club but I think they were
like they ran dogs that were slow. I asked questions and they said I had "Wind Splitter" hounds.
At the time I didn't know what they meant but a fellow told me my dogs were to fast for their
style. They liked what he called "Peanut Rollers"
There is an ARHA club in my area now and our town has a UKC coon hunters club maybe
they could tell me where to find info on UKC beagle clubs.
My dogs are AKC registered and I don't want to spend the money registering them in the
wrong format just to see if I like trialing. I just want to see some other dogs run and meet
some new beaglers.
Thanks for help guys.

Re: What trial format...
I've got dogs that have run in Little Pack, Progressive Pack and AKC. I believe you're close by if you want to run sometime and see how your dogs match up to mine.

ARHA Little Pack in my estimation. Love that run trying to catch style.
Good mouths too!

Re: What trial format...
Thanks for all the info guys. I will start looking up trial dates, rules and a club
to join so I can get a couple hounds registered for that format.
I have lots to learn but I want to start off on the right foot. I don't plan to
trail much, but I have a couple dogs that deserve a chance to compete.
