Number of dogs?

I usually like four or five with one of those being a male. But now i have kept a male pup out of my male and am up to six running dogs and a litter on the way.

6 to 8 all females,13 inch over med speed, and 2 to 4 female puos coming on.

I always seem to have 10 to 14 hounds in my kennel at all times. Right now I have 7 female and 7 males. Out of thoes dogs 4 are pups two male and two females. All of them can chase a hare to the gun for me.

I would have as many that I could take care of ( Afford, Feed, Water, Vaccine, clean-up after and RUN ) but of as right now that is 5 Female but I would like to add a Good Male with my Females.

We have 9 with 3 males. this is the most males I have ever had.

Well I am just stating with beagles I have two female pup with the hope in the future of getting one male.

I have been running a pack of the same 17 for the last month or so. Nine males and eight females. I wish more people kept and ran a larger pack. It's a heck of a lot of fun.
