Turbo Breeding Question

Post by Ole Mule »

"I would stay away from anything with anymore Turbo in it. To much Turbo is a bad thing."
I have seen this and heard this. Now I am curious why? Anybody want to go into a little detail?

Just one persons opinion. You can say that about any bloodline there's good and bad crosses in all. Just my opinion.

I have seen double and triple crossed lines produce crap....junk.

Hounds I own included.....

I have seen bad bites, excess mouth, kennel barkers, and just plain idiots, that can happen in ANY line.....if truth be told.

There most likely referring to getting extra mouth. But here's the thing, If you breed Mouthy turbo + mouthy turbo= mouthy pups. But as common core education shows us, Mouthy turbo + mouthy fox creek still = mouthy pups! Most people have different methods of breeding than I do. Pedigrees and history of bloodlines is good thing to know, but it all boils down to the individual dogs your breeding.

Old Mule look at my post Turbo Powered By Prop. I had several p.m. that guys didn't want to bash him on here. Nothing was said bad about Turbo himself but some of his offspring's when you line breed them. You have seen my pedigrees on my line breed Turbo dogs and they don't give extra mouth. They do over shoot the track some but that is in all fast dog. I think you should post and ask what would you think of this cross or put both pedigree's on here and ask opinion's on cross. Both dogs are RABBIT dogs and no one can say they are not. Go 4 it Mule tell them what you are thinking about doing here.

I have a female out of IFC Reggie bred to Arks Turbo Powered Blue Gail. Both directly out of FC Turbo powered by Prop. I figured she would be "rougher than a night in jail." Couldn't be farther from the truth. Honest mouth, hard hunt, clean running, very smart, excellent mother & full 15 inch bitch. Only problem I have with her is she's BLUETICK!!!

This is just a question, but whenever I see talk about Turbo breeding they bring up Reggie. No doubt Reggie was and is a hell of a hound, but Reggie was also half ninja blood. What if he pulled his traits from his dams side? I just wondered why he is always associated with Turbo more?

BB beagles I fill you Brother, I think the mother has more to do with it then the father, but it does take two. I have been told the ninja stuff crosses well with this line. If you raise any this year give me a call I am always looking for good f.m. pup.
Both dogs are mine and old mule is going to raise a litter for us. The man is very smart on pedigrees but I hope these pups don’t come with wings because if they do they are going to fly away.
I told Old Mule about some of the faults on breeding line breed Turbo dogs that is why he is asking all these questions. Yes I am worried some here but it ant but one way to tell, and I told Old Mule to { JUST DO IT. }

BM Orchard I am glad to hear that and I fill your pain, I like red dogs and all of these are bluetick also.
