anyone ever seen a dog change colors?????????

i have a 14 week old beagle pup that has never been out of the house and three weeks ago it lost all its black hair and now it is the slickest grey coat of hair ive ever seen the skin is smooth under the hair no flakes or scratching very clean its like it just lost the black hair and is now grey??????? any ideals??????

What color is the dogs nose? Is it a blue-gray or black?

black,,, this pup has spent its intire life indoors it shows no sign of itching of flaking skin at first i thought it was mange but it is as clean as it can be not even a speck of dirt ever touched this pup the hair is thick and shiny it has just changed from black to grey the whole color change took less than two weeks and im puzzeled if i can ill post a pic of this pup so you can see what im talking about

Ask Doc S about grey or sometimes called blue colored dogs. I believe they sometimes develop skin problems.

If the pups nose is black then it is not a blue, white and tan. If you have a pic send it to me and I will post it for ya. Would love to see before and after.

you'll see this in almost every beagle pup. As they get older colors start to get darker and show up.

i will post a pic as soon as i get my cam. back but the pup was black white and tan now its a grey almost white ,,tan and white only black left on it is some on her ears and tail but the tail is changing a little each day the black on it keeps moving towords the end
