Birch lake, or Jigs. But Jigs is just old branko.. They should both give you what you want..

Dennis Kennedy has had very good success with breeding his big meadows blood line in to Branko.

I had a Reggie daughter that was line bred Syris Mc Ghee on the bottom that made a very nice dog.Plenty of foot and drive and also tight check work and good line running ability.

I'm going to strongly agree with BLACKROCK Kennels.
There are many different out crosses of branko but Reffetts/Northway is a great cross. These hounds have ton of hunt, good line control, plenty of foot.
Another is Ninja/turbo. In my opinion ninja blood are true run to catch hounds. If you need a reference just look at Greenwells Reggie.
There are a lot more but these are just some of my favorites. We should all say thanks to branko and his family for all the hard work and hounds they have produced over the years. :D

Depends on where you live? In OH I stay as close as i can with out line breeding or in breeding cause i like Branko's breeding  I have tryed indian hill cross it could not handle a faster dog running agaist it they would cheet :mad2: i tryed white rive to slowe :loser: also tryed ace in the hole and at three years old they blew up and start back tracking :angryfire: / tryed pach hounds they where to rough for me :loser: and no nose i have also tryed deer park cross and it was to stupid to find its way home :angryfire: and i also tryed gay baker same thing to stupid to find me in the woods. :bomb:
I have had some luck with blue thunder cross but he is out of Branko's stuff so that is not an out cross. My friend in South Carlina has cross with Tad Pole and he realy like it but i have yet to see him run.
I say if it ant broke why fix it and Branko's dog are not perfect but i have had the best of luck by just staying in that line of breeding . :)

Not trying to start anything but you mentioned"I try to stay as close as I can without linebreeding or in-breeding as I like the Branko's stuff". It's not possible to "stay close" without line breeding.
I've got Branko pedigrees that go back 30 years and you can see that Branko has always done extensive linebreeding throughout.Able's East Coast Trimmer, his son Branko's Jack of all Trades and his son Branko's Heli Prop's line were extensively bred to hounds from the Branko's City Streaker,Branko's Copper Boy, Branko's Ali-Baba lineage.Branko continues to breed along those same lines in his crosses that are definetly linebred.
I'm a fan of linebreeding as I like the family of dogs I have and I like the consistancy of traits and abilities when I breed.
