bodetis, You may want to change dog foods, I saw where you were feeding Southern states dog food. Dogs have a hard time telling the difference between, Victor, Pride, Diamond, and Southern States brand right out of the bag from these brands right out of the dog. After a hound passes these foods they are so similar to the original bagged product that the dog becomes confused and mistakes their crap for what they believe is some that has been spilled out of their bowl! as an aside, the wormer you need to use for tapeworms has to have praziquantel as the active ingredient.

I use valbazen , I mix 10 ml Ivermectin to 500 ml valbazen and give it to my dogs according to the chart on the valbazen bottle. I give it to pups and grown dogs and have no problems with any worms. Be sure not to give valbazen to pregnant females though.

I agree with Gwyoung. This has worked best for me!
This is the active ingredient in Droncit,Drontal, D-worm( TSC)........ Some of these wormers have other ingredients that make them a more complete Dewormer.
It is usually recommend to treat three sonsecutive days.

Sounds like you have spent more money than a trip to the vet for tape worm would have cost. I'm not a big fan of vet visits, but sometimes it's the cheaper/safer way to go. Most vets only charge $10-15 for the Droncit and it works.

safe guard goat wormer from tractor supply or similar store same as panacure only cheaper. 1 cc for every 5 lbs 3 days in a row. active ingredent is Fenbendazole kills giardia, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, the taenia species of tapeworms, pinworms . a bottle is around 20 dollars and comes in 125ml bottle. so a 25 lb beagle will get 5cc dose. here is a link to it at tractor supply

i'm a big fan of safeguard but it doesn't get all the tapes. i give safeguard every other month the month i don't give safeguard i use equimax, its a horse wormer with ivemec and praziquantel. i've had dogs into the vets and they think there house pets there so clean. i haven't found anything better so far.

Bodetis, to stop her from eating her feces, put a wal-mart bag over her rear end and tape it on like a diaper so it will catch poop. LOL!!!
