I will be going on a road trip soon to run some hounds with some folks that I now consider to be very good friends of mine, and I NEVER would have even met these people had it not been for these lil beagle hounds and this beagle board...Steve from Owlcreek Kennels and Jim and Joe Lane from Laneline kennels and myself will be having our now, annual, beagle and friend weekend at Joe's house in Ohio. This is a Great way to spend the weekend....Good friends, good food, good hound music and, I'm sure, lots of stories!!! Dosen't get any better then that. That's just one more Great thing about these little hounds...Bringing people together for all the same reasons...Great Fellowship and Great Hound Music!!!!

The weekend was a blast, great running on fri, sat, and sunday. all the dogs did great and the food was excellent . Steve and Paul ate all the choc. chip cookies. need to keep this going it is a good way to get dogs ready for the hunting season and remember Paul we need to hit a couple trials this year. remember guys it hit my stick the rabbit hit my stick came right out of the grass and hit my stick Thanks for coming up to OH-IO Joe

Joe thanks for the hospitality, I had a great time and Mimi for sure took care of us on the food and snack's, she is a wonderful cook and a super nice lady , it was nice of her to put up with us.
we could not ask for a better place to run or running conditions and we had alot of laughs, the stick story will live on for a long time.
to bad that was not on video...... oh wait , it is ....ROFL !!!
the pups did great on the trip home.
and thanks for Lighting he will be well taken care of and maybe just a little spoiled by Vickie.
looking forward to next year and our January hunt if we can make that work , but you may be seeing me this spring too if all go's well.

That was a Awesome weekend!!! Dogs pounded Mr. Bunny!!! Dingus Power!!!!! Thanks for putting us up Joe and tell your better half thanks for the Great food and hospitality....I think I gained 5 lbs!!!! Don't forget Joe about that cross we talked about...that has me pretty excited...possible terrors in the making right there!!!!!! Great Laughs with Great people and Great hounds POUNDING!!!!! Priceless!!!!!! Steve, your welcome at my house anytime my friend....We sure make alot of beagle crosses riding for 5 hrs in a truck don't we!!! Don't know any of you that got together but sounds like you had a good time. To me that's what it's all about the hounds of music ( the chase ) and good friends to fellowship with.
