Yes, I purchased it and found it to be well worth the $65 asking price. If you could ask a successful houndsman to sit down and write out how he does everything then you'd have this book. While the beagle is not his chosen breed the book provides a wealth of knowledge in one place. You can do one of two things, spend years learning how to care and manage a kennel or you can simply read this book and follow his instruction.

I was lucky enough to have a grandfather that handed down his knowledge, so this book was a great update on a lot of things I was taught. Every new aspiring houndsman should start by reading this book and then go buy a hound. JMO, if beagles brought a higher price then I'd give this book with every pup I sold.
