Some Video of my young pup running Solo

This was shot last week. I tried to get the rabbit on video but it is so thick here in NY that the rabbit could be 10 feet away and you wouldnt see it. The pup is my 5 month old Castanellas Ali Bomb. She Is out of a female I bred out of a direct son of Rangerdan and a direct bitch out of speedy sport. The top side is Tadpole breeding. She was never in a starting pen. I put her down on some wild rabbits in my yard a few evenings in a row when she was just over 4 months old and she just opened and started trailing the rabbit. I have always had them start early amd mature quick out of the speedy Sport/ RangerDan crosses.......DH

She sounds very nice for such a young pup. She can really move a bunny.That is one of the things I really like about your line they start early and run like more mature hounds.Good luck with her.

She looks and runs like Gidjet and the rest of those pups out of Katie and Elvis. There are a few things that I've seen that
I've never seen out of my pups and I'm sure those come from Trick. By far her best qualities are her hunt, but then again all those pups hunted like that at an early age. ..,,,,andre

Good luck with your pup! Hope she makes the cut. I never got to see the gidget dog run, but I'm sure she was really nice. I have seen trick run hundreds of times and I can't recall one time he didn't hunt as hard as anything on the ground.

Neil is right, he hunts extremely hard. Thing I noticed and liked about him is that he has a good sense of direction. Watched him place 1st at the coal mine challenge and it seemed he knew where the check was. I hunted over him in Kentucky and he never seems to run around like a chicken with its head cut off... He's all around complete gundog.
