ALMOST GOTCHA / VIDEO N PICS

budd and his son brian came down to do a little running and pick up a pup. we had good running and some qaulity dog talk. here is a clip and a few pics of the fun. after the dogs almost caught the hare on the road we did pull them cause we figured the hare's luck had about run out. catching him would mean the dogs did a good job but we would rather be able to run him another day. and the dogs were getting about as tired as the hare lol.

always enjoy the company budd and you are always welcome at my place. but don't leave brian behind. next time he can catch some of them perch n bluegills that i stocked in the basement lol. no big deal, we already have er dried up pretty good and it's something we can laugh about for years and years. hope the pup turns out to be a keeper for you guys.

I enjoyed the video. It made me wish we lived where you have Hare. Really exciting chase - the nearest thing to it for us is a big running cottontail. I liked the squealers. I know a lot of guys do not like the squeal mouth but as I have grown older they are easier for me to hear. My favorite beagle has a mouth much like what I heard on the video. Good video and nice dogs. ROWCO

rowco - i hear ya on the squeal mouth. not saying i want a pack of them but the one that i have really stands out, even in a big pack. i do like a big squall/ball mouth, but most of our stuff are chop mouthed. hard to believe that hare managed to slip out of the pack at the end, but i am glad that he did.

Got dogs out for the first time since middle of may. First time in a couple weeks I haven't been woken up from dogs barkin at something going bumb in the night.
