I didnt mean to start a thread for this. I only intended to find out if she was up for sale or lease to breed. I wanted to breed her grandson to her that i own. Her pedigree is one of the best you will see, and she can produce. I own FC Beavercreeks Kickaz (her grandson) and he is very fast and a hard hitter who always wants the front. My inent was just to see about making this cross to destiny and that was all. Tim obviously you own some powerful dogs, and some people are just jealous of it. Whod the smart one in this scenario though? He paid an amount of money he deemed okay and now has the dog to breed for his kennel for years to come....smarter than buying a bunch of useless junk and breeding that. I commend the man for buying and breeding what he likes, and who gives a crap what others think.

One last thing to Tim, mr Ross Dasno is a very good personal friend of mine and he has taught me many things and most importantly if people are talking about you....you are doing it right!

I personally spoke to dave Mcvay at nationals about butkus on the way to our running spot and he still hates that he sold him so I dont think he is laughing at anyone. Dave also mentioned that he was the most complete hound that he has ever seen. (100 degrees -10 degrees and over 2 feet of snow). no matter what the condtions he done what he was suppossed to do. I believe the Mcvays and Tim Ogrady has a pretty good friendship and you shouldnt be trying to start any BS between them. And no I dont own any sundown or butkus dogs so I aint taking sides.
Well said Timmy I have Butkus pups and I have taken females to him you WILL NOT FIND A BETTER GUY to deal with then Tim he has bent over backwards to work with me and help me out
and all I can say is THEY SUIT ME now for those of you that have a hard time understanding I will say it again THEY SUIT ME! !!!
And as for Dave McVay anybody that knows him he is a class act and you will not find a better guy and he has told me numerous times that he wish he would have never put a price on him. :hammer:

If anybody ever asked me what is the best decision I ever made, the decision to buy butkus when he was one would be one. My bro n I pick jifka instead n she was not less than butkus. I think destiny to butkus should be similar to blue bay n butkus. Good luck.

Dave ,
Why in the world are you digging your nose in so deep to another mans dog deal. I personally like to see the owners of a top shelf hound fetch a good $$$. I wouldn't give huge money for a dog or pup but I certainly wouldn't publicly ridicule a man for it. If a man has the means and is willing to pay a big $$$ for a finished hound why does that bother you so? If you owned a dog of that caliber what would you sell it for? I bred a gyp to Butkus and only had 1 pup. Wish I would have tried again before he was taken off public stud.

I've always Been told "If you want to breed
dogs buy the best you can afford". And that's
great advice. Just so happens Tim followed
some great advice and has not 1 but 2 IFC's
in his kennel. Not many people in this sport
anywhere can say that. If I could afford to have
1 in my kennel I would.

As for what a dog is worth Tim got a bargain
on Butkus. Do the math if Tim wanted to he
could easily breed 30 to 50 females in a year (in 06
IFC Reggie bred 100 females) that's reasonable
numbers your looking at the potential to make
over $100,000.oo just think about that. He's
5 and already 3rd on the TOP SIRE LIST with
only around 50 females bred.and the majority
of them less than 2 years old.WOW!!!!
I would love to own a dog like that and if Tim
would he knows where he can get rid of his
Big Mistake. LOL

I believe Tim to be straight forward and an honest and upstanding person. What he does with his hounds and his reasons for doing so is his business, and I for one congratulate him for his integrity.

Mike, I want to thank you for hauling Rush up 77 to get her bred to Butkus. I have not met Tim O'Grady but have spoken with him several times on the phone. He was very good and accommodating to me. I would like to thank Tim for taking such good care of my female while she was there to be bred. Lowell

I'm glad you guys brought up what a great guy
Tim is. Here is what kind of a guy Mr. O'Grady
is. Last year I had a Shooter male that I was
Just crazy over and he was killed on a hunt.
I was on a waiting list for another Butkus pup
and when Tim found out my dog got killed
He sent me down a male pup out of Butkus
X Greenbay Sandy. With a pedigree second to
None in his first 3 generations every single dog
is FC or IFC. I wouldn't have batted an eye on
buying this pup if he said $500.00 but he didn't
Tim absolutely refused to take my money and
told me merry Christmas I hope you like him
as much as you did the one you lost. So say
what you will you'll never convince anyone that
has ever met Tim. Because we already no what
Kind of a friend he is
