I like to pay top dollar for pups. U get what u pay is my believe. If I run midwest, I would had bought a pup. U guys should thank the guy for selling such a nice pup. I have offered 1000 for a 2 months old pup, n the owner say the only way they will sell is trade with a brand new truck. Some people won't let go what they have for such small offers. I appreciate the guy for selling n breeding top dog.

Keep breeding those dogs that no one has ever heard of and my guess is that no one will hear of their offspring. Of coarse you can always go to a trial and prove yourself.... I rest my case!

You are right about one thing though... You won't be able to give them away. Good luck and keep hating... Seems to be serving you well.

i dont know you sir, but ill say one thing. At least I didnt have to pay a record amount to get my stud. Your 15 minutes of fame is because you bought your way to noterity. My dogs were raised and trained by me. You sir are talked about, at those trials, as the fool that made the McVays very happy. So how does it feel to be the laughing stock in the Beagle world. As i said before a fool and his money are soon parted. You have a nice day. DaveKeyview Beagles wrote:Dave,Dave Swiger wrote:Jimbo. Re: Manifest Destiny
sao not true at all
i have spent big money on junk cause it was blown up like some of these stud dogs. bought dogs for a 1000 that would run deer like a pro bought a dog once for 1500 seen it run in a pen for hours. when i took it out to the woods it followed me around until i walked accrossed the highway. just cause a dog is 1000 dollars dont mean crap. i have gave dogs away for free to young kids that are better dogs than what most are feeding and calling there best. it is in the eye of the beholder.
just look at some of them trial barkers that run the trials laying ghost lines and being scored on them. if u dident watch theem go when they make the book u think there a dog. when the whole time they were just buddy judged.
my new years resolution is not to buy anymore running dogs cause they never seem to be what guys say they are. greed makes people lie for a dollar.

1. You don't know what I paid.
2. I sleep just fine at night.
3. I didn't know you had a stud dog. Good for YOU!
4. I don't own a stud dog. He has not been offered for quite some time.
5. Didn't know I was famous and I sure as heck don't know what "noterity" is. I think you might be trying to spell "notoriety"?
6. As far as being the "laughing stock" in "your beagle world". I could give two $hits....Thanks for asking
Sorry that was 6 things. Happy Easter

Re: Manifest Destiny
ill make one more statement and im done.
At a ukc hunt about a year ago Dave mcVay and i were in the winners pack and he made this statement about the sale of the Butkus dog. He never quoted a price, but he said " You paid possible the highest price ever for a rabbit dog" So i can see why you wouldnt want anyone to know how foolish the price. I really dont care what you paid. Next time you are at a hunt and guys break out in laughter, ask if you are the subject of the joke. IM just telling you what is being said behind your back. A fool and his money are soon parted.
