I was congratulating Ricky and Alice on another post when I remembered another good one. "BEHIND EVERY GOOD MAN IS A GOOD WOMAN AND A VERY SURPRIZED MOTHER-IN-LAW."

LR Patch wrote:" I never gave anyone hell , i just told the truth & they all thought it was hell " Theodore Roosvelt
lr patch isn't that a Harry Truman quote or did he just borrow it.

The one Roosvelt quote I always heard in school was "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far"

This is a good old school quote from Truman that we could benifit from using today
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything."

My dad "darn boy was you born in a barn shut the door"
" you would tear up a lead ball with a toothpick"

one i heard/ " aint no sweat of my sack"

As a heavy equipment mechanic for TECO COAL. Everybody wants my job till something breaks down then nobody wants it: MINE
If it was easy everybody would do it.
