6 dog, Classic 70 G2, Tritronics VALUE??

Post by BCBeagles »

I have a G2 6 dog, all collars in great shape, chargers all mounted to a 2x3 board for ease of use with a power strip.

How much would this be worth, have a buyer just asking opinions. Unit works great! Never had an issue at all.

Thanks for the help!!

I saw a 2 year old Tri-Tronics Trashbreaker ( 2 mile unit ) on another hunting site for $600.

I would think that you could get $500 for a Classic 70 , 6 dog unit in good shape.

Seems everyone is moving the shock collars , tracking collars and going to the Garmin Alpha. There are some great deals on older shock collars and the older Garmin units. Heck , they are about giving away tracking units that are not Garmin now.

Best of luck moving your unit

I thought everything tri-tronics made was a 1 mile range other than the trashbreaker! Never seen a Classic 70 with a two mile range.

Used g3 collars in good shape are going about $80 each. Being g2 I would think $60 each so that's $360. The transmitter probably $125 plus or minus so sounds like you're in the ball park. If I could get $500 for a g2 1 mile I'd probably take it.

I sold mine for $450, was asking $650 BUT i thought the transmitter "might" not have gotten out to range that i wanted so i told guy i would take the cost of new transmitter off. it was working very well but i had ordered a new Trashbreaker so i moved it.
