Ny hare hunts 13 today (New pics)

Harry we were running under one of your big males over the weekend. My buddy bought from you he was a nice dog. Only thing I didn't like about him was he was tight mouthed only barked one or twice every 40-50 yards. He's in the pic with the two of us in the woods on the blue lead right below me and the hare.

Yeah I cldnt see the pics u posted kreg sent me the pics!! Yeah I have two littermates ta that male day can be a bit tight at times but that hare is running fer its life forward progress!! More mouth will come wid age in my opinion don't bother me a bit at this pt in der life's!!

i i also hunt in the adirondacks and only shoot one or two hare and thats after a 1 or 2 hour run sometimes even longer and always in front of the dogs where we hunt if you killed that many in one day you wouldnt hae any running for the rest of the season you also had to be shooting strays to shoot that many try hunting them with a 22, much more challenging , many times ill let there hare go by a count it as akill that way i can run him again unless apredator gets him

i can't believe bull is getting for a great hunt! i hunt all over the adirondacks and there is NO shortage of hares on public or private land, i hunt both. scott, if your having that much trouble finding hares try getting more than 100 yards off the road or get better dogs before you criticize someone else's hunt. bull you must have some serious dog power to kill that many. last week when i was up i hunted 3 days without killing any. good job.

Thanks we killed so many mainly due to the fact that the three dogs the guys from Ny ran on Saturday didnt pack at all so we would have 3-4 chases going at once. Doesn't take long when u have three times the oppurtunities getting chased. I can imagine what people would have said if we wouldn't have missed any and shot every stray we saw lol I saw 4 cross one road in less then 20 mins haha

Hey bull is it called not packing when ur dogs can't keep up?? Sounds ta me its a gud ting ya had dem hounds from NY or ur numbers may not be as high!! Iam glad u had a blast and dat kreg showed u lots of hare and real hare hounds bringing hare ta da gun!!
