Snowshoes for Hunters

Cabela's have some and I've known guys who are pleased with them. Sportsmen's Guide magazine also has shoes for less. Coarse Tubbs rates high in my book, just a bit pricie.

My Wife got me a pair of yukon charlies. They have a website do a google search. I got them about three years ago and they hardly look used even though I have logged alot of hard miles on them.

The bindings are pretty nice as far as snowshoe bindings go, they are pretty reasonable in price, they are light, dont load up with snow and are a great snowshoe.

I have some out of Cabela's. I think they were around $100. Very nice, light and I know they have improved in quality since I bought them including the bindings which I thought were basically junk on mine.

I have tried using snowshoes while hunting, it didn't work to well(i'm clumsy). But I use them to pack down trails for us to walk on while hunting, works pretty well.
