Re: PUPPY FEED
Barry, we now feed Buddy Boy puppy food and we are having really good results. It is delivered to my house for about 25 for 50# bag. In fact we have switch over the entire kennel to the premium line of Buddy Boy. At one time we quit using it but right now they have a great chicken and rice for a decent price. We have a little more stool that we like but the dogs look and run good. It breaksdown 25 protein- 20 fat. I am able to get it delivered but this would not be possible if I did not know the owner and he lives near my house. Also he has offered to have dropped shipped a pallet at a little better price. Re: PUPPY FEED
bigdog, i have tried it all in 25 years. i have used ol' roy to blackwoods, IAMS, and science diet. now i feed the ol' roy puppy blend to the the pregnant female from 5-6 weeks after she been bred til the pups are bout 6-8 weeks old. puppy chow is same as the ol roy puppy. diamond is good and i had good results with it. i guess my choice would be puppy chow.
Re: PUPPY FEED
You do realize 4 The health of it is made for TSC by Diamond. I wouldn't feed either if I could. I am currently feeding Victor to a pup with good results.johns03272008 wrote:Between the 2 you listed puppy chow for sure, but I used 4 health puppy when it was on sale and wow i really liked it, if my memory serves me right it had no fillers or corn but not sure will have to look later!!

Farmerwells I haven't fed the puppy food but when I was able to get Black Gold around my area I fed the black bag and would also feed it to my pups with good results. Wish I could still get the Black Gold.Farmerwells wrote:any body ever try Black Gold Ultimate Puppy food

The puppy chow is good feed, has anyone else had trouble with loose stools with it?They did good on it they were just a mess to clean up after.I started feeding the same thing I feed the grown dogs and putting all breed powered milk on it or calf powder milk.It will stick to the kibble, kinda look like the old purina puppy chow.Just shake it around till it's coated good. You can give it wet or dry they love it.The'll get stout on it.The smaller the kibble the better.

When I fed Puppy Chow I had trouble with loose stools and a lot of it.
