Mo. Beagler , no none of it was directed toward you , again he took everything out of context , dispite what he thinks , i think about a higher power all the time . dont mind when people talk about him in reference . but IMO to get on these things and start preaching to people is wrong. i feel its wrong to preach in schools , again referencing him is fine. to me that is pushing something on somebody . not against preaching the word but there is a place for it. never saw much of that on here until certain people came aboard . and thats fine if thats what they want to talk about but title it acordingly so others know what to expect and leave it out of the other topics . i was refered to as a hypocrite on here and thats fine , but I feel the real hypocrites are the ones that do the preaching of Gods words on here in one breath and try to antagonise people and instigate young people into misbehaving in the next breath ! that would be the very same person that these people are defending and yet im the hypocrite . im done with this on here , if they care to discuss it further i have a PM

I take this board as a means of folks expressing their OPINIONS and then I take them for what they are...OPINIONS. When I come across an actual beagler authority I will take in everything they say as the gospel but in my nearly 60 years I've yet to find one packing a PHD in beagling. I've read many a post from those that have spent countless years following these small hounds and have gained knowledge from their experiances BUT understand that those experiances are specific to their situations.
One thing that is bound within my heart and sole is right and wrong in whatever the situation may be and when folks are expressing opinions they are talking theory not fact. Facts are only facts when they have been tested and ring true by objective reality. What seems to be factual in the eyes of one beholder may be totally false in the eyes of another under differing circumstances and therefore those facts must meet the test of all circumstances under the same set of objectives. This is where the documentation, science and or evidence come into play to over ride the subjective from the objective. I've been called rediculous, the butt of sarcasm and most probably laughed at but one thing I know to be a fact is that when the gavel slams down someone will be right and someone will be wrong based on an objective interpretation of the circumstances by a third unbiased party (judge) that gave rise to the differences of opinion by a preponderance of the evidence. That folks is surely the only authority as the finding of the facts of the case has been levied which must be followed and serves as the basis for any future such circumstances. The precedent has been set and it is etched in the logs of case law. Until that time it is as we all have heard, "opinions are like a**holes everybody has one and everybody is entitled to one", including me. I have and maintain my old school perspective of right and wrong with absolutely NO room to deviate from those objectives.

Buck,I don't know you I've enjoyed your posts in the past.We all get bored arround this time of the year,this board is a way to pass the time for me till things cool down some.I took the shotgun aproach on the vote being that I don't know you and you did create the questions.One must be correct,although you not posting dosn't seem to be slowing down the bickering much.

Pilotknob: The "bickering" continues because it is my post, it is hot, and there is substance to discuss that a lot people never get a chance to do. I haven't said in word in 4 pages or so. So here goes: Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when one does not submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. If you challenge a person's world view, they strike back with insinuation, accusation, and innuendo. Great tools to convey a point if used properly. If used improperly, merely an effort in futility.

Bev: I have been on the board in one form or another since 2006. Enjoyed it all the way.

dog, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I left at five this morning and just got back. Now, where were we, I guess I will just start with your last post if that is agreeable with you. You said this is not the place for preaching, In my opinion Bev, disagrees, She alluded to a problem of people trying to say what this board should or shouldn't be. You say you were called a hypocrite, anyone who can read can see for themselves this is not true. I cleary said if you were found to be talking about anything other than dogs you would then be a hypocrite. I will still search your posts if you insist! Who was preaching God's word and instigating young people to misbehave, You need to answer this? I can certainly understand your loathing of facts, they tend to expose. I am quite sure that you have found facts standing in your way on many occassions. If you would like to get along that is fine keep in mind that I will continue to present facts as I find necessary to be helpful. If someone should ask for advice and or opinions and during the course of this dialogue they tell me that they are not interested in any facts it will come to an end. It hasn't happened yet , what do you say to that! If any others wish that this person not receive any facts and ask me to stop, I will not. You are generally in the latter group as you start very few topics. ( As do I)

Mountainway: You are Oh so correct. Course, those $10 words seem to peak people's curiosity. Just look at what Ol' Liken said on the post under yours. He has been waiting to quote Shakespeare since hight school. Maybe I gave him the opportunity. If so, I have succeeded.

Remember, You aren't required to respond but it can be invigorating on a very hot day. Innocently, I also think maybe a person feels good when they do. Just saying.

There you go with those facts again. I am convinced that many beaglers have more to say than "I've Got the Best Dog in the Neighborhood" and what's more, would love to have a site to say it. Do you think we could start our own forum where we could say and digest anything we wanted to (as long as it is civil and can be backed up)? Just like sitting on the hill with your friends and kicking the old conversations around. I will pay all the expenses but I don't know how to do it.
