pedigree on Satsuma Joe

Can anybody show me what Satsuma Joe's pedigree goes back to? Mel Faust I think bred this line up, I think. Thanks

Joe II is out of FC Satsuma Woody and FC Satsuma Joy.

FC Woody is out of FC Satsuma Mack and Satsuma Jody. FC Satsuma Joy is out of FC Satsuma Jake and Satsuma Jody.

Thanks for the reply. I want to know what the Satsuma dogs go back to before Mr. Faust started calling them Satsuma. Are they hare bred or ect. Just want to know more bachground on them. Thanks

They are hare bred hounds, most are lemon and white. They go back to a dog called Green Mountain Jerrico (spelling). I can give you more info on it later. I'll glance back farther in the pedigree. I run satsumas and have two dogs directly off of Joe. I also just bred another to a son of Joe. If I remember correctly Joe passed away about 6 months ago at the age of 16.

You got that right! Many people don't know that Bad Seed and original Satsuma hounds were so closely related.

Do you want a Satsuma style hound with a traditional tri color look? Then Bad Seed was your answer. Still is if you can find a Bad Seed hound.
