Top 10 Reproducers List.

Is there such a thing in the beagle world and if so where do i find it. I have been unsuccessful at coming up with anything so far.

The Better Beagling magazine issues a yearly list of Top Sires & Dams. It is comprsed of the dogs that are placing in field trials that are advertised in the magazine and results of the trials that are turned back into the. It usually comes out in March and April

The better Beagling top sire list reflects the males that had sired the highest numbers of offsprings placing in AKC licensed trials for the year. It comes out every spring, this year it Reggie was at the top of the list, in previous years it has been Green Bay Shooter and Speedy sport. I believe sport had the top of the list for two years straight. I believe Rangerdan had some impressive numbers and is one of the highest sires by sheer numbers of placing hounds and number of FC's he sired....If you don't have a copy go to the better Beagling site it maybe listed there and/or subscribe to it. Thanks for the help. I know that ukc does this with coonhounds. they take the number of pups produced and out of that the number of champions and grand champions and so on. But it is more of a month to month type of publication. I think that it seems to help when trying to make a decision on buying or rasing pups resulting in my opnion in better crosses and better offspring.

NKC has a Hall of Fame for Reproducers. I think you can find it on their site.
