Whats the biggest litter?

One of our buddies has a female that would always have 5-8 pups alitter & at her 5th time she had 22 pups, I know what your thinkin, IMPOSSIBLE, I thought the same thing. But she only raised 2! No they have bred her to Butkus & I dont think she has had any pups ?

But My Litters are found between 5 & 13 pups! Someone once told me they had a female that has 27 pups! I didnt really believe that til I seen this one have 22!

I have a friend that had a beagle have 18 pups, he told me she had pups for 3 days, he was so worried that he took her to the vet on the third day and on his way to the vet she had two pups. But she had 18 total, I don't think any ended up living

Oprah had not been in heat for nearly 3 yrs prior to being bred to Butkus, at least that is what Bobby Adkins had said. I was told her largest litter was 14 and another time 8 or nine. I didn't ever hear from the guys who were around her she had 22 at one time.

I also heard she did have a very tough time with pups overall and lost a very high percentage of them. I was on the list to get one off of her and Butkus.

Curious what dog food are you feeding. The reason that I ask, I once would get 7-8 pups a litter and raise them all. That was when I was feeding Wal Mart Ole Roy high protien. Since I switched to Sports Mix 20/24 I have been getting 5-6 to per litter and they don't seem to raise all them.
I loaned, then sold a couple of females to a buddy. The first female had six when I bred her but had ten when he bred her. The second female had twelve when he bred her. The largest litter from a bitch that I had bred is nine, once. I've had several that had eight but not recently.

Bernard Told Me She had 22 & Dont care what bobby sez ,guess he doesnt even know! She came in every 8 or 9 months & thats how it always was. Bernard.My dad & I all ran dogs for the last 10 years! Every day I have came from Bernards Kennel.
Im keeping bernards word as 22 Pups! He raised her & trained her & Bred her every time! til he died & Bobby rushed to buy her the next day! We was gunna get her,But didnt think a female like that was worth puttin money & time in & only raising 1 or 2 pups a litter & none, Or not taking.

Yeah ,Had a few outta Her & Blue Beard. We owned NrFC . Mtn State Blue Bud ,But dad sold him as a pup!
also Mt State K K (Bernard Named her after me) Nice FAST FAST ,Little female. also LP RC . Blueway Blue Bunn, some ppl called Bernard Bunn & he was named after him, he made LP RC in just a few hunts on lots of Strike Jumps. with 3 with & I think 4 now toward grand. also KK's Blueway Sounder. Would make it to the winners pack every time, just didnt place. sold for $1000 & $1500! Also had a few more outta that litters. they were bred I think 3 or 4 times. alll great hounds. Bunn also sold for $1500 ,dad again ,lol! wouldve finished in AKC with Ease.
