Re: video Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs
Thanks again guys. I think everyone should try to video their dogs. A friend of mine helped me video some of my hounds years ago with
the old vhs style cameras. That was a little bit of a chore and the video quality then was poor compared to now. All of those dogs
are dead now, but I still have their memories on video.
It would have been great if we had video of all the great hounds of the past running, but at least they took pictures. It's cool to see
pictures of dogs in your pedegree.

Re:video update:Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs to Sire and Da
First I want to thank everyone for their kind words about my hounds and my
Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs video.
I'm excited...
I crossed Taz and Daisy because I think they balanced each other out well
and are making fine rabbit dawgs that are fun to hunt.
Check out the short video of my future rabbit dawgs from this cross.

Thanks for watching and wish me luck with them. I do have some pups available on puppy page.
I hope everyone has a great rabbit hunting and trial season.
God bless

Re: video Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs
Thanks Steve. I think it is a great looking litter too.
Taz is throwing some nice houndy looking pups. He
seems to be putting the hunt/desire into his pups.
Everyone that bought a pup out of his last litter
is very happy.

Re: video Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs
Nice video. How are the kennel manners on this line of dogs
Re: video Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs
Thanks for the complement. As far as kennel manners for the line I can only comment on my dogs.
If you didn't see the dam you wouldn't know she was there. If she barks something is wrong so you
had better check it out. The male barks some in the kennel when kenneled alone. Now that I have
another dog with him he is quiet also, eventhough there are cats running around in sight in my
neighborhood all the time. I live in town so my dogs have to be quiet or my neighbors
would complain.

Fun video! They turned out to be nice dogs! Do any of them have Clem or Ozzie in their background? I kinda like to follow what their pups do.

Great video and thanks for sharing.
Hope you don't mind, but I want to play it for my grandchildren as its a good trainer for our young folks as well.
Good way to get THEM started as well!

Re: video Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs
Bev thanks for the kind words. It has been a blast working with these hounds.
The black tan and white female in the video (Daisy) is directly out of Clem
and Jim Lane's Donnarae female.
She is a nice hound with gears. She has an honest mouth and when she barks
she has the rabbit. For as fast a foot as she has i'm impressed how tight she stays
on line and in check.
I have 3 males left for sale off of her and Taz on the puppy page now. She
had 6 of the best looking pups I've ever raised. She was an outstanding mother.
If these pups took her brains and line control and Taz's EXTREME hunt, and loud
honest mouth they will make some really nice gundog or trial hounds.
I recently got a 12 week old male from Jim that has Clem and Ozzie
in his pedegree...AND HE HAS A CLEM EAR. I can't wait to get him started.
Bev I feel blessed to have offspring that go back to 2 of your best hounds.
That video of the clem pups running that hare amazes me everytime I watch
it. Outstanding nose and desire.

Thanks Alabama John. You can show that video to anyone you want, especially anyone
that is getting started beagling. It has been fun watching them go from pups to
Rabbit Dawgs.

That's awesome, underdog! Thanks for the update!
Re: video Laneline Pups to Rabbit Dawgs
What an AWESOME video. Being a coon hunter most of my life I always LOVED "Where the Red Fern grows" and this video reminded me of it. You addressed through the video all stages of the pups progress and within ALL the different conditions. I also noticed that you addressed the fact that you didn't train or teach them but rather gave them the time to do what they were bred to do. I LOVED that you gave credit to the dogs and mentioned that you only put them in the environment to progress as they have. In looking at the video several times I see you addressed nearly everything that rabbit dogs must possess BUT one that makes them GREAT dogs and that is consistency. I saw in your dogs that very thing through all the elements that mother nature could throw at them up to this stage of their developement. The video led me to a conclusion about your dogs and I hope to be able to watch more. I often put the "Where The red Firn grows" tape in and watch it which is what I suppose you will do with this one for many years. I know I would!
