The Rabbit Infestation Experts - Two Day rabbit hunt

Awesome two days of rabbit hunting. We took a little trip for a couple days to do some rabbit hunting. Can you say over population of rabbits? No joke this place was loaded to the gills with rabbits. Rabbit droppings everywhere you step foot. I don't know how that many rabbits can live in one place like that. On each hunt dogs jumped atleast 25 rabbits or more the first day and 30 rabbits or more the second day. thats stray rabbits and rabbits chasing eachother and three rabbits running out at the same time. Heck you'd shoot one and the dogs would be coming thru on another rabbit. That happened more than once.

We were able to get three limits two days in a row for a total of 36 rabbits. We hardly covered a small section of the place. There is still a field full of rabbits we hardly put a dent in them. Its kinda a far drive but maybe we'll make another trip before season is out.

What a crazy two days of rabbit hunting. Never seen so many like this before. Unreal. Dogs NEVER stopped running. Only for short little breaks for water. It was rabbit after rabbit.

joey, did you find any rabbits with worms or spotted liver? Seems like when ever I find a place like that (and its been years since I have) the rabbits always seem to be sick from 1 thing or another.
