Steve, I hope that this didn't happen, and that Dexter is alive and well.

Me to PA, I feel your pain. Lost two for a few days and a couple of pups once for three days that was all I could stand even though I was lucky and got them all back, I bought tracking collars and use them every time out.

I just bought the Garmin Astro 320 last week, and will never take a dog out without it.

Hope you never "really need it" but the peace of mind it will bring you is worth it.

Everyone should use them. You lose one dog, and it pays for itsself.

I lost 3 dogs about 4 years ago on Thanksgiving and I know what your going thru. Spent weeks driving the roads putting up pictures and jumping on every hope looking for them. Never found them. Like you got myself a Garmin. One little advice on that Garmin, get you a long range antenna for it. Weather the car mount or the hand held one. I got the hand held. I only had to use it once in three years but I found one 3 miles and one dog 4 miles from where I'd turn them loose :angryfire: :angryfire: One I'd a bet the farm on that wouldn't have ran a deer.
