I had a big grade red and white male and he was as good as many I have ever seen and better than most. In his prime he was fun to watch!! Fast and hard hitting with a huge mouth and hunt that I still have yet to see in another dog. We have three off of him and the one female, owned by my brother, is coming on to be just like him, but not as fast. We will line breed on the three we have to double up on old Zeke. Man he was just a powerful hound!!! At times he would run 50-100 yards ahead of the pack and people that hunted with us would just say, man look at him go!! I miss that old dog.

Saw Crabtrees Honey dog at the world the year she won it all. Fast accurate hound that loved to run a rabbit. I think she actually hated rabbits. Wanted to catch and eat every one she ever smelled.

I am happy you agree. She is one of the best if not the best female jump dogs, she comes back to the point of loss fast, and is accurate with her mouth. You know Jim, the greatest thing about this bithc is, she is a REPRODUCER!!! One of the best reproducing bitches out there. Travis McCarthy has a bitch out of her that I believe will be the real deal......

i dont get out much but i have seen some nice dogs.
but as i thought about this question. i could not think of any that just blew me away. then last night it hit me.
there is 2 that stand out in my mind. that when i seen them run i thought
whole $hit
NOW THAT IS HOW YOU RUN A RABBIT !!!
it was Chris Wells kik Duncan ( it was right in the middel of a snow storm at the LP Spring Nats, 2009 i think.)
i loved running with that dog, and to be honest it bum me out when chris retierd him. he was the same every time out
when i run with him.

and Terry Suddiths Mississippi HD (PP hound) but i bet he could do ok in LP on the bad days or thicker running .
cuzz he anit slow by know means.
both just locked on the line and that was it. it was all over with but the crying.
