Hey DC,
Long time no see! The male I kept is doing a great job, had him up on the island twice in the last month and he looks real good. He got sucked in on a deer race up there but we stopped it quick cause the old bitch broke off. He has showed no interest since then.
We took two limits of cottontail two days in a row over him and Cammi and he had no problem switching from hare.
Plenty of foot, big nose and line control with a clean mouth.
DEA on here has a female that is doing a nice job for him and the other male went to a guy that does not get on here but he is pleased to say the least. MI Beagler on here had a female that he was gunning over by 6 mo but she passed on to an accident early in her life.
I have lost track of the others but I think a repeat cross is in order for sure.
SUCCESS- When preparation and opportunity cross paths!

Hey DC

How are ya? I also have one of the females from this cross. And I can tell you I would like to see this cross made again. Mine is running very well. she does good on both hare and cottontail. She is getting alot of solo time and it is really starting to show. She is running with the big dogs and does more than her part. great line control and good speed. she is a little tighter than your or daves males. I have not had her even offer to run trash. she hunts hard, but with that being said if I had to give her a fault I would have to say it would be that she hunts close. I wish she would range a little more, but is getting better.
all in all I really like her and would love to have another one. I would also look at runner for a future breeding.
