Does anyone have any information on Mikermas Superdog? I know he was from up north. What his running style. Is he still alive?

Rick Patterson from southern Indiana might be able to help you out. He has some Mikermas Superdog stuff. I think Mikermas Superdog has passed but am not for sure. The three males on the Patterson's website and a female called Woodeye's Super Sonic all are out of, or grandpups to Superdog. Their website is pattersonsbeagles.com. Their contact info is on the home page. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I was able to get in touch with Rick. Sounds like he was one good dog. Wish he was still around. I've got a gyp out of him that I wouldn't trade for anything. I'd like a few more just like her.

We have had dogs, 2 breedings out of Super Dog, and FC Indian Hills Hattie, (both arnow no longer with us.) The best quality we saw in the breeding was excellent hunt, reached a little far (may be from female instead of Sup, never saw him run.

Never saw him run; heard he had a lot of hunt. He has produced 4 or 5 AKC Mid-West FC's & they were fast & accurate. FC Smith's Bonny Lou was by Superdog & a Prop bitch. She was the Mid-West Top Dam once or twice. She produced very well; dam to FC Pound The Ground Chance & several other nice hounds with wins & places.

I owned until she passed FC Woodeyes Super Girl, very nice hound. I use to own FC Woodeyes Super Chic, finished in the mid west and went to Canada, place 2nd in her second trial, got hurt and layed up for 3 weeks and place 4th at the LP Nationals. I was told by a noteable judge with well over 100 trials judged "that Super Girl may be the best bitch he ever saw run". Fast and clean and won a 9 hour LPH on Sunday and won an SPO on rabbit on Monday.

As far as Super Dog, ask Mike White on the Beagles Canada. His kennel name is Mikermas and he loves to talk dogs.
