I too have wondered if the northern beaglers and especially the large pack on hare guys have had success with Reggie dogs or as you say he is more of a regional interest.
I have two Reggie females that I absolutely love.One is double Syris McGee on the dam and is about as sharp a tri-colour as you'll see [tick free ]. The other is a double Ninja bred dam and a solid dark bluetick.
I also have a female out of Reggie's littermate brother Turbo Charged Thunder Blue that is a black and white beagle with very heavy ticking but not bluetick.
For those of you who might know; are Reggie and Thunder producing similar type pups? What might be any diffences you've seen?

You maybe right Will My memory aint the sharpest. Hey Dana i ran with Thunder several hundreds of hours. He was super nice pretty weird looking Back there is Thunder, Reggie,And Junie As well Boggie of Chad Blairs.All these hounds were born within a month of one another.Who would of Known what these dogs were gonna be? Or Produce.
We as a whole have Seen Alot of Greatness in Reggie,Kinda strange i just expect his dogs to win or place anymore. Numbers are vast and your gonna run against them at hunts.I have sorta followed Eddie Taylors dog Bad moon Rising and as for me he is the one to Carry on What the Hogeeman Started. I love Moons Hunt I have seen him run when nothing could , Pretty nice ol hound. Bred right to produce.Just my observation.

Will , i think Roy bred that female to him twice....I think Little Man was one that was in the other litter. Kevin Johnson has one that was in the Reggie, Thunder Blue litter. Several others around southern Indiana at one time. I believe Roy has been pretty sick but he could tell the history. Seems like someone told me Roy won some award from Better Beagleing on this cross.

at the beginning of this post it said lets see the reggie dogs and u can list the dam too if u want. You sure better list the dam because behind every great stud dog u better have a great dam. And for u houndsman u know it does not matter how good the sire is if u breed it to a junk terrible female the majority of the pups r coming out like mommy dearest. Way too much is put on the male just my opinion but i bet if you spoke too branko don hoog and some of the other gentlemen who have made there marks they would agree. I understand the philsophy behind the madness and alot more money can be made off a male in the breeding process becasue of the large numbers difference. But should we not start giving the bitches some of the credit. Just asking? And if u look at percentages i GUARANTEE Reggies is no where near the percenteges of just a average female. Lets take the money part out of it and the Owners Breed only to top females then you could maybe brag about the reggie pups but when u start throwing in mass breedings in the hundrends is there really something to brag about. Again just asking? I have seen some outstanding dogs come out of REGGIE one being SWITCH GREAT DOG straight bad ass and i have seen some not worth a dime that hold titles because they come out of reggie. I will not name dogs because i have learnt my lesson that some people can not handle negative comments. And I Will BET the farm that some more then u could ever imagine never ever made it.
