Joey- Keep on knocking em down man!!!! :D :D :D :D

There are some guys who like to kill rabbits, some guys who just like to listen to the dogs, some who like to do both, and some who just wish they had enough dog power to jump and run 20 rabbits in a day. LOL!

Joey, i love your pics and your videos. Most that know me and my boys know we love to gun hunt and thats what do come october to febuary here in Indiana. Every once in a while we go on a hunt where we are able to kill alot of rabbits but thats only when we are taken to certain spots by others. I only have few spots i personally hunt, hunt public land alot and some reclaimed mine ground. Theres a few spots where we can run all day and gun all day and not even touch all of the property. Ive been hunting public ground for over 12 years and killed hundreds of rabbits off this place not counting all of the other hunters that go there, never seen the place void of rabbits, lol. Nothing wrong with a tailgate full of rabbits, i personally dont like to clean 20 rabbits after a all day hunt lol, must be getting old lol!!! Good thing i got boys hahaha. Keep the pics coming and the videos and to be honest, i would love to come hunt with you !!!!! Jon Cornett

HOLY COW! Did I open a can of worms or what? Either you all are gettin thin skinned or my initial post sais something completely different than what I am reading. I just asked joey if he eats all the rabbits he kills or does he give them away? I like rabbit as much as the next guy but I dont think I could eat that many in a year. IT WAS A PERFECTLY HARMLESS QUESTION!! Joeyman I did not mean to offend you in any way. I enjoy your posts and pictures and I appreciate you answering my question in a polite way, something that shows me you are the kind of guy everybody sais you are. I have a pretty good friend who has hunted with you in the past and that only serves to back up what I had already heard. For the rest of you that took offense to my harmless question which by the way the person it was intended for did not seem to take offense too, this is a forum designed for people to have discussions about rabbit hunting, not for infantile egos to start bashing other peoples opinions, ideas, and questions, Joeyman keep doin what your doin!!!!

wish we had enough rabbits around here to be able to go out and knock em down
like that
we r lucky to get a race around here
so shootin more than a few around here in a season is just out of the question
joey must be pretty good at managing is rabbits populations
because hes pretty consistant every year about filling tailgates
enjoy your pics
keep on knocking em down
BUT STAY OUT OF KY!!

I just like to see the rabbits have a sportin chance my 9 year grandson want even use anything bigger than a 4-10 ga. i think we would see lot less on the gate if they had to do some percision shooting but thats me i just like a challenge to brag on Like wasaid i think the limit has turned into a goal instead of a control no offence JMO everybodys intitled A bunch killed with a 22 would be worth seeing but always take a look no matter what LOL

I'd love to see that many rabbits let alone kill that many. I remember when I was a kid here in Indiana we used to be able to go to the stripper hills and run rabbit after rabbit all day long but around here today your lucky to find one to run let alone all day long. I've hunted the state properties just a couple miles south of me and certainly not ran rabbits all day although we've hunted for them all day. What folks do is dependant on the area they hunt. If the population is there and you are legal then do your thing as everything loves rabbit especially the house cats that people just allow to roam the country side. By the way I hear some folks like cat as well

Joey,
Keep on huntin them hounds and killin rabbits over them! That's what they are for! As long as someone doesn't kill more than their limit, and does it ethically( no jump shooting, when you have dogs to run that is) then bring on the rabit stew! I leave figuring out the populations to the wildlife biologists who get paid to figure that out for us, and trust their findings. We usually run a bunch more rabbits than we kill, so we leave some for seed by default!LOL!
If I was doin any better today, I couldn't stand it!

keep doing what your doing and if I had half a chance I'd stack them like firewood on my tailgate,I've been messing with these dogs for two years at about 100 lbs of food per week and yet to kill MYSELF a rabbit,so I have a lot of rabbit to eat before I get my monies worth out of these dogs!! And further more if you didnt' live so far away I'd be on your door step every other weekend to help stack them that way!!
