11-28-10 Beaver pond

Post by Tsa la gi »

Started in the briars about 8, 5 jumps killed one. Met Donnie, Bubba, James about lunch time went to the River swamp, killed one. Jason was combineing soy bean`s, couldn`t hear the hounds part of the time so we went to the Beaver pond Swamp. Had good running and a lot of fun.Hunted till almost 5. Got to see the pup out of Shantie/Gus and the pup out of Blanche/Gus. They are doing an excellent job for 8 months old. I am very happy with these crosses. My Skeeter pup and Jim Bonner`s Boss pup out of Shantie/Gus have been doing a good job but just a little behind Donnie/Bubba`s pups.

Love all them white dogs... :D

I have a couple of flood control areas I hunt. I'm sure they're nothing like a real honest to goodness swamp, but I've been caught in some less than desireable situations around swamp water w/ hounds. They're real productive spots, though.

Cool video.
