I am no expert, but IMO. Ranger Dan and Dingus are two of the lines I have come to love as a gunhunter. HARD hunt, plenty of speed and staying power to run with any hounds. I am confident the Dingus hounds owned here is WV by my friends and myself could do well anywhere in the country. They are good all around hounds. A lot of them are pretty darn straight and rabbit crazy from very early ages!!

I agree i went thru alot of different bloodlines over 28 years and never seen a line so consistent and throw hard hunters and thats why i cross that with my gay hounds and get what i want

Sbadger,

Look on the post for Big Tuna pups. I own Jazz the female in the 7th or 8th post. She is about 13-13.5 and is a real nice little hound. Great Grandpup of Ranger Dan.

This is my male Rex. He is out of Blackie's Bonjo (a littermate to Jr's Top Gun Tyke). He knows how to find a rabbit. He has places in AKC Midwest, ARHA LP & ARHA PP. He is the best dog I have ever owned. I'll post some pics of the 2 11 month old pups I have out of him and a Tyke female.

what dogs was ranger dan out of ? What about his littermates anyone know anything about any of them ? ;) I have a litter with ranger dan a couple generations back would'nt call them ranger dam bred I'd call them No Luck Kennels bred lol. I'm pretty sure Big Tuna is the grandpup out of Ranger Dan, He's out of eyer's geno who is out of ranger dan I'm pretty sure could be wrong have been before but if i'm right that would make you're pup a great grandpup to ranger dan! which means he's 4 generations back. which puts alot of variables of other dogs in the bloodline as well how do you know how much ranger dan has an influence in that dogs genetic make up ? I'm a party pooper but there is alot of this stuff going around.
