INFO ON JASPER PUPS!

I would like to hear about everyones jasper pups and young dogs,if you will tell us what they are out of,female wise.what kind of hunt, foot ,nose,mouth,size and how much bottom,and be honest!we have 3 (2 females and 1male) their mama was bluegrass creek blue babe who goes back to doylands jimmy, haunted hill shaker,turbo,blue ninja and some branko stuff.
the pups are a little over a year old.the females are around 13inch.ones tri-color,the other is blue ticked.the male is around 14inches,he is blue ticked.we put them in a start pen for 14 days, they started in 4 days and was out doing the old dog the man who owns the starting pen uses to start pups with by the 7th day, when we picked them up their noses were raw. the blue tick male has good hunt ,huge nose,big bawl rollin chop mouth.the 2 females,the blue tick,her mouth sounds like someone is trying to rip her ear off,at times she acts like a old pro like she just knows what to do and how to do it.she can jump it,run it and get hard checks over some of our older dogs and does it with line control,the tri-color female had a foot problem and is behind in the game,but is coming on strong the last few weeks,heard her jump rabbits the last 2 times out with her sister, all 3 are carrying their own weight being ran with 14 to 15inch males and females that can flat out pound a rabbit.we have shocked them twice for off game,thinking it was a fox or coyote, but all and all the jasper stuff or it might be the females stuff has really opened our eyes and we really like it! just wanting to know if other jasper pups are turning out like this or better! thanks.....

Jamie if Babe was still around I would make that cross again and keep all the pups. I am glad they are going good for yall. I only kept one big bluetick male and he is doin great. I would also like to hear about other crosses with Jasper.

I love it I just picked up another one yesterday he is out of Jasper and Sextons Dee Dee only 10 weeks old I have One that is 6 yrs. old that is hard to handle real nice he's out of Jasper and Big Hollow Tess and I have one that is almost 7 months old and big nose, brains and super foot. All of these out of this cross started around 4 to5 months old they are out of Jasper and Line Master's Code Blue. I bread Blue back to Jasper about 3 weeks ago. Can't get enough Jasper but I also like Mullins' Black Rocket stuff and some out of John Queens Turbo by Turbo. But thats just me.

I have a Jasper female, raised her from a puppy. She is now just over 2 years old, redticked. Dam is Willis's Ruby Red (Sexton Chopper+Dorroh Your No Daisy). She has a coarse chop mouth, used very well. I would get a few excitement barks out of her as a puppy but she has grown out of that. Good hunt, she will jump rabbits. Nose is average. Guessing she is probabily 14" +/-. Foot is maybe a 6-7, not a windsplitter by any means. She would take a deer as a puppy; we talked about it, she's over it, not a problem. She runs a nice tight line solo, can get rougher in a rough pack. She is far from perfect, but I really like this dog and enjoy having her. Hope to breed her in the future, and if I get a litter just like her I would be pleased.

I have a male out of jasper and Klein's No Mercy Masie. Klein's No Mercy Smokin Joe I co own Jim Klein. He is now a Little Pack Grand Champion . He is 6 now. He has really settled the last year. He did run a deer when he was younger. Rich Timm

I own a male named Turbo By Jasper. The bitch is Double D's Roughshod Angel which is out of Louis Blue man. Turbo has a ton of hunt, he is always busy, and has alot of foot. He is a real good check dog and i would say a fair jump dog. He is rough and does pop off a little early sometimes. Biggest problem I have had with him is he is super competetive and was opening off the lead at trials, but I got him broke from that. I run little pack and I love the Jasper stuff. Tons of bottom end , lots of foot, and hard hunt. Turbo also is a champion and won the michigan state hunt this year in the champion class.

i had a female out of jasper and dee dee i aint seen a dog to out hunt her honest mouth good speed and hunted hard no matter how hot or cold it was outside .

btt, keep them coming!thanks, run our jasper pups monday with 3 of our females,6 dogs total, they had a hard check,about 3-5 mins in 85 to 90 degree weather at 8:30 in the morning,2 0f the pups and the 3 females came out and went across the road and jump another rabbit but, the little bluetick jasper female stayed and found and ran the rabbit for about 15mins by herself and sounded good doing it!she has got some GRIT!!!......
